The modular J-lay system provided by GMC was installed on the Amethyst Semi drilling vessel. Utilizing this system the first welded SCR in Brazil was installed from a subsea manifold to P-18 FPS. GMC personnel were pivotal in the development and successful installation and deployment of this SCR.
